A game for the PiCoSteveMo jam inspired by (my vague memory of reading) From a Buick 8 by Stephen King. A mysterious automobile superficially resembling a 1953 Buick Roadmaster sits menacingly in a PA State Police garage, emitting occasional bursts of light and birthing otherworldly creatures. Your partner, last known to be in the vicinity of the "car," has gone missing. What happened to him? Will you share his fate? I mean, probably, right? Only one way to find out!

Splendid! I thoroughly enjoyed slugging bat-dorks at a smiling car, and the game-over screen was legitimately creepy :)
I remember seeing this one early on and being jealous that you must;ve figured out how to use
tline(). I’d love to hear how the headlight effects work; drawing anything that isn’t a rectangle or an oval in PICO-8 seems like a pretty long walk.It's so good! I love the arcade-y action and how much nuance there is in the seemingly-simple controls. The car animations are incredible.

Love this one. I like how the charge makes it so you have to square up with the bats. Feels like taking a batting stance, and that makes sending them into a Buick really satisfying.
Thanks! Yeah, could probably use more tweaking, but I was trying to make the batting mechanic nice and crunchy. Glad you enjoyed!
